Picture Book is an independent bookstore based in Dobbs Ferry that offers both online and in-person shopping at our semi-permanent pop-up inside HudCo. Find the best books for your kids with ease from our curated selection, while also discovering your own grown up “picture book” -a gorgeous new cookbook, that hot new novel you keep hearing about, even that stunning monograph on the artist that just had a show at the Guggenheim. What is your favorite item(s) for Spring 2021:
There are so many great books coming out this Spring! I bring in new books every week, so stay tuned to my instagram account for new features @picturebookny. Recent releases include picture books by local authors G My Name Is Girl by Dawn Masi of Hastings and Rectangle Time by Pamela Paul of Irvington, the new Reese’s Book Club pick Infinite Country by Patricia Engel, the new book on the best of contemporary drawing called Vitamin D3, and the Newbury Award winning chapter book When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller
What are you looking forward to as we start to move towards post Covid life:
I eventually want to open up a standalone brick & mortar in the Rivertowns, but for now I am greatly enjoying my partnership with HudCo and I’m looking forward to other similar popup opportunities as well!
